ICAR (AIEEA) EXAM Pattern
The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is the apex body for coordinating, guiding, and managing research and education in agriculture in the entire country under the aegis of DARE, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
The ICAR-AU System of India has 74 Agricultural Universities comprising 63 State Agricultural, Veterinary, Horticultural and Fisheries Universities (SAUs), 4 ICAR-DUs, viz. IARI, IVRI, NDRI and CIFE, 3 Central Agricultural Universities (CAU, Imphal, Dr. RPCAU, Pusa and RLB CAU, Jhansi), 4 Central Universities (CUs) having Faculty of Agriculture (BHU, AMU, Viswa Bharati and Nagaland University).
The National Agricultural Research and Education and Extension System (NAREES) of India is one of the largest agricultural research systems in the world, admitting more than 28,000 students at UG level and over 17,500 students at the PG and Doctoral level annually, in different disciplines of Agriculture and Allied Sciences.
ICAR 2023 AIEEA Exam Pattern
The exam date of ICAR AIEEA 2023 has been announced. Candidates can check it through NTA website. Authority will released official information bulletin few days before the commencement of application form.
The exam will be organized for both UG & PG courses. The ICAR AIEEA 2023 Admit Card will be released in April 2023 for various UG & PG level courses. It will be made available through online mode only. There will be no other mode to get the admit card via offline or by post.
It will be a mandatory document to enter the examination centre (exam hall). Candidates are advised to also carry one valid ID proof with admit card at the examination center.
AIEEA UG:
Duration of Exam: The duration of the exam will be 150 minutes. The extra 50 minutes will be provided for the visually challenged or blind candidates.
Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through online mode.
Sections: The test paper will be consisting of 3 sections, i.e. PCB/ PCM/ PCA/ ACB as per subjects.
Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Agriculture. Candidates have to attempt only three subjects as per their selected subjects.
No. of Questions: 150 questions will be asked from each subject.
Type of Questions: The question paper will be of multiple choice objective type questions.
Total Marks: The question paper will be of 600 marks.
Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded.
Negative Marking: For each incorrect response, 1 mark will be deducted from the overall score.
Language: The question paper will be bilingual, I.e., English and Hindi.

ICAR AIEEA 2023 Preparation Tips
Go through following tricks for the preparation of ICAR AIEEA 2023:
