UPCATET  is Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test. It is held for admissions into various UG, PG, Diploma, and PhD courses for the institutes located in UP. This test is held for admissions into agricultural courses. The Chandra Shekhar Azad University Of Agriculture and Technology, situated in Kanpur, is the authority that conducts the examination.

Further, the exam is held through selected centres, i.e., Kanpur, Ayodhya, Meerut, Banda, Varanasi, and Lucknow. The seats are offered to candidates who successfully qualify for the examination with the desired results.

UPCATET  Eligibility Criteria

To participate in UPCATET, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria the conducting authority sets. The eligibility criteria clearly state that candidates must be residents of UP atleast for 5 years. Candidates who are not UP residents but ancestors were former residents can also take part in the exam.

An aggregate of 50% marks in Physics and English with PCB or PCMB in combination is required.

B.Tech in Biotechnology, Food Technology, Agricultural Engineering & Diary Technology

Candidates with a valid score card with the combination of agricultural science, PCB/PCMB/PCM can apply.

B.Sc (Honours) Home Science and B.Fsc

Only candidates who completed their 10+2 with combination of PCB/PCM/PCMB/ agricultural science can participate.

B.Tech in CSE, ECE, and Mechanical

All willing candidates must have a valid 10+2 marksheet with PCM/PCMB.

PG Courses

M.V.Sc, M.Sc & MBA

All candidates must have finished their bachelor’s from any recognised institution with qualifying cutoffs.
